Keiki Swimwear at Salt + Sea: What Is in the Poʻipū Shop Today

Salt + Sea Kids Lililehua Long Sleeve One Piece in the pink hibiscus print

Reign + Skye and our own Salt + Sea line are Hawaiʻi brands, designed here. I want to be straight about what that means. None of this swim is sewn in Hawaiʻi. We also carry keiki swim from Mai and Babikini. Mai's own pages say its Littles pieces are handmade in Bali, and Babikini's own pages say its bikinis are made in the USA.

Twelve keiki pieces from those four labels are on the rack in Poʻipū today. There is more keiki swim in the shop than this list, but every price and size below was checked today. If a piece below is missing a size, we do not have that size in the shop right now.

Our Own Salt + Sea Keiki Pieces

The Lililehua Long Sleeve One Piece is our pink hibiscus print suit, $37, with long sleeves for added sun protection in a 90 percent poly, 10 percent spandex knit. We size it true to age. Two are left, both in size 0. The Hanakoa Surf Trunks carry the same pink hibiscus print, $28, in sizes 0, 6, 8 and 10. They are a quick dry poly weave with an adjustable elastic waistband and a button, sized true to size with room to grow. Size 6 is down to one pair.

Reign + Skye

The Anthuria Long Sleeve Swim is $40, in 2T, 4T and 6, with one left in 6. Reign + Skye describes its own anthurium print, a soft and flexible swim fabric, and long sleeves for added coverage. The Leopard Sands Two Piece is $43, in 2T, 4T and 6, and the 2T is the last one. The brand describes tarnish free gold starfish charms, a seamless style that does not hug, and new sizing for a true to size fit. The Melia Boardshorts are $32, in 12M, 2T, 6, 8 and 10, with one each in 6, 8 and 10. Reign + Skye describes a drawstring closure, scalloped edging and an adjustable elastic band inside. The Island Haze Long Sleeve One Piece is $43 and down to one, in 2T.

Mai Littles

Mai's keiki pieces are called Littles. The Everyday Bodysuit in Fig Check and Edith is the long sleeve one, $85. Mai describes it as a long sleeve one piece swimsuit for girls with soft, lightweight coverage for sun safe adventures, in its signature buttery soft fabric. Fig Check is in the shop in sizes 2-4 to 10-12, and Edith in 2-4 to 6-8. The Everyday Bodysuit in Blush Feline and Esther is also $85, and both prints are here in 2-4 to 10-12. For a two piece, the Littles Everyday Top is $45 and the Everyday Bottom is $40, and both are in the shop in Edith and Fig Check in matching sizes 2-4 to 6-8. Mai says to order your regular size.

Babikini

Babikini makes little bikinis, and its own pages say they are made in the USA in an 82 percent nylon, 18 percent spandex fabric, hand wash and line dry. The Kitty Kat bikini is $32, in the shop today in XS to XL. The Zebra bikini is $32, in M, L and XL, with one each in L and XL. Babikini describes a classic black and white zebra print trimmed in pink with white heart shaped beads.
