Tag Aloha at Salt + Sea: Pareos and Bags in the Poʻipū Shop

New prints from Tag Aloha are in the Poʻipū shop. We brought them home at the end of August, and they are on the floor now. Tag Aloha is one of our Hawaiʻi brands, designed in the islands. We carry six Tag Aloha styles right now, and this is all of them, with today's prices and the prints in stock.

The pareo wall

The Tag Aloha Pareo is $50, and there are 23 prints of it in the shop today. Some of them: Pakalana, Gold Tiare, Royal Pikake, Sunrise Kalo, Kalo Ula, Puakenikeni Rose, Puakenikeni Coral, Ulu Pareo, Summer Dusk and Coco Tiare. Three prints of it are down to the last one, so if you see Opihi Neon, Summer Lei or Navy Hau on the wall, that is the only one we have. Tag Aloha makes it from 100 percent soft spun rayon and says to wear it as a wrap, a skirt, a bandeau top, a dress, or even a beach blanket.

The Tag Aloha Mini Pareo is the smaller cut of the same rayon, $42, in five prints today: Coco Kalo, Opihi Navy, Opihi Ahina, Green Kalo and Navy Hau. Tag Aloha says to tie it around your hips as a beach skirt or around your chest as an instant top.

The organic cotton pareos

The Tag Aloha Cotton Pareo is $64 and comes in three prints today: Crown Flower, Kailua Blooms and Naupaka. Tag Aloha describes the fabric as 100 percent organic cotton, grown without synthetic pesticides, and says it gets softer with every wash. It is the big one, 70 by 46 inches. Tag Aloha says to hand wash it cold and hang it to dry.

The Tag Aloha Mini Cotton Pareo is $52, in the same organic cotton at 53 by 19 inches. Two prints are in the shop, Naupaka and Crown Flower, with two of each.

The bags

The Tag Aloha Everyday Bag is $70, in five prints today: Honey Kalo, Gold Kalo, Pua Melia Pink, Opihi Poni and Coco Tiare. Tag Aloha makes it from 100 percent recycled nylon, woven from leftover mill material and used fishing nets, with a water resistant weave and two zippered pockets.

There is one Tag Aloha Mini Bag left, in the Opihi print, $32. Tag Aloha prints its own hand drawn artwork on soft organic cotton, and its page calls ʻopihi, found clinging to the rocks along Hawaiʻi's shores, a symbol of strength, resilience and simplicity.
