Mai Underwear at Salt + Sea: The Pieces We Keep Restocking
Aloha girls. If you have shopped with us in Poʻipū, you know Mai. We stock Mai deeper than any other brand in the shop, 130 pieces live on our site as I write this, and it still sells out. The fall collection is on the rack now.
What is on the Poʻipū rack today
The fall prints are Harvest Dot, Edith, Fig Check, Sablee and Peri. I checked our inventory this morning, September 20. Here is what is in stock today, with today's prices:
- Everyday Top, $75, in Harvest Dot, Edith, Fig Check and Sablee
- Everyday Bottom, $70, in Harvest Dot, Edith, Fig Check and Sablee
- Knot Top, $75, in Harvest Dot, Edith, Fig Check, Sablee and Peri
- High Hip Bottom, $70, in Edith, Fig Check, Sablee and Peri
- Everyday Bodysuit, $150, in Fig Check and Edith
- Charlie Midi Dress, $180, in Harvest Dot and Edith
- Littles Everyday Bodysuit for the keiki, $85, in Fig Check and Edith
And for the girls who always ask about the black ribbed Mai: the black ribbed Everyday Top is in stock for $70, and only mediums are left. That is the piece I said survives every cycle. It gets restocked about once a year, so if a medium is your size, now is the time.
The Charlie Midi deserves its own line. Back in the spring I joked that I could not afford an influencer, and luckily the Charlie Midi was doing all the work. She still is. The fall version is here in Harvest Dot and Edith.
How the pieces fit
The Everyday Top and Everyday Bottom are the set I keep coming back to.
The fall swim pieces run XS to XL, and the Littles run sizes 2 through 12. My fit advice is the same one I give on camera. If you want a little more coverage, I size up a little bit. And for all you aunties, you can still wear the ones the young girls wear.
Why Mai means so much to us right now
After Hurricane Lowell, our friends at Mai bought $1,000 in Salt + Sea gift cards and asked me to pass it to women in our Kauaʻi community. I am giving ten wahine each a $100 gift card so they can shop from wherever they are.
That happened while Poʻipū was slow and Kauaʻi was still picking itself back up. I will not forget it. When you shop Mai here, you are supporting a small Kauaʻi shop and a brand that showed up for our island when it mattered.
Where to find it
Everything above is in our Poʻipū shop and online in the Mai Underwear collection. Sizes in the fall prints are already thinning out, so shop before your size disappears.
